A Family Law Practice

prenuptual agreements

A prenuptual agreement addresses the property rights of a husband and wife, and becomes effective upon the confirmation of marriage. The creation and signing of a prenup can be emotionally (and fiscally) complex, and requires experience and careful attention to detail. Parties to a prenuptual agreement will often be represented by council for these negotiations, and Thorpe Law will ensure that your interests are fairly and reasonably represented in any agreements. We believe that you should enter into marriage with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you will be fairly treated in the event of an unexpected separation.
